Today's excursion to the store turned up some great finds! First let me say that I got these shots "illegally". This stuff is still in the back, so give it a couple of days if you don't see it on the shelves right away. I just wanted to share it here in case you've been waiting for it, or needed it, and didn't even know it yet! just a glimpse:

There are lots of embellies and papers in those boxes! I can't wait to see them all!
I also found some other cool stuff that's already out on the shelves:
Grosgrain Ribbon by Kaiserkraft- gotta love all that colour!

Pink Paislee- Butterfly Garden- WOW!

MME- Stella&Rose stamps

Crate Paper

Bella Blvd.

Oh and the new Scrapbook and Cards Today is in!

Free with every purchase over 25$!

Stay tuned this week if you've got a sweet tooth, or are just addicted to sweet papercraft supplies!

Stamps 101

Today's post is all about stamps. Versatile for cards, pages and projects, Stamps are great tools to have in your stash. Check out these texture stamps by Hero Arts, and Impression Obsession next time you're in the store- nothing beats the feel of working with red rubber stamps if you ask me!

Impression Obsession
A few weeks ago, I also purchased a couple of these neat stamps from La Blanche- They are white silicone mounted on a foam block- the detail work in these is unreal, and the price quite reasonable.
La Blanche

Polymer stamps also have their advantages. Image placement is a piece of cake with a clear polymer stamp, and they take up much less space than wood mounted rubber stamps.
Check out these fun designs from Technique Tuesday:

If you're into coloring, than the next batch of stamps is for you!
New releases of The Greeting Farm have arrived, and some really pretty new stamps from Outlines!
After seeing the beautiful samples done with these, It was really hard to resist filling my cart!
What are your favorite type of stamps and why?

All the new lines of Echo Park are also in and on the shelves!
Echo Park- Playground ( my fave)
And if you're on the look-out for some fab new embellies, look no further!
These wood embellies from Studio Calico would be awesome au naturel, with a bit of Glimmer mist, or Distress Stain
Studio Calico- Wood Veneer
Buttons from BBP

And these delights from Crate Paper- I had to have one of each!

Stamp by La La Land Crafts-  Sweet Dreams Marci
New arrivals last week included Stella Rose by MME ( Pretty!), Basic Grey- Hello Luscious and Life's a Party ( love this one!), new stamps from Technique Tuesday, and Cosmo Cricket papers. I know  the La La Land Stamps finally came, and were so hot, many of them didn't even make it onto the shelves; snapped up by us crazy stampers! Nat promised me there'd be more coming shortly.

Here are a few more page samples and cards for you. Most products are already in the store, with the exception of Nikki Sivils, and the yummy dotted paper by Doodlebug Designs Inc.
Speaking of new arrivals...

American Crafts- Hello Sunshine.  Layout by Claude Campeau

It just feels like spring despite the snow flakes falling today. All these new babies popping up around us! I've been doing Easter crafts with the kids, and sneaking out the Easter decorations one by one, just to beat the winter blahs. A trip through the Easter products at the store never hurts either... check out this sweet paper by WRMK- the bunnies tails are actually flocked!

Penny Johnson, Stampavie - Easter Chick Stamp

Nikki Sivils-Max and Mollie Layout by Claude Campeau

I'll be back shortly with more updates, and maybe even a challenge. Leave us a comment here and tell us what kind of challenges you like...who knows, I may be able to snag a prize for random comments on blog posts, and/or for a challenge or two.

All Distressed!

I'm usually drawn to the brightest, most graphic papers and embellishments on the store shelves. Prrimary colours, and cute critters have my name all over them. But lately, I've been having a hard time ignoring some of the more distressed and vintage products coming out. I've joked that maybe I'm changing scrapbooking orientations- it's quite confusing lol!
Just look at these beautiful products:

from the king of Distress himself- Tim Holtz- These papers must be seen in person!
Nothing like a bit of Cork to add texture to your page- These sheets by Magenta are really neat!

 Goodies from Bo Bunny!

I know these die cut sheets won't last long! Bo Bunny Timeless Collection.

Oh the possibilities! these are liquid stain in daubber containers!

I couldn't wait for these to be put out on the shelves...loads of beautiful blooms from Prima!

I'm itching to add a few of these to my stash!
